MINOTAUR INST. will open a black T-shirt specialty store "#000000T" for a limited time.
"#000000T", a black T-shirt specialty store created by a collaboration between MINOTAUR INST., which offers a wide range of items each season that are particular about black, and #FFFFFFT, a white T-shirt specialty store that specializes in plain white T-shirts, will be open for a limited time from September 4th (Friday) to the 30th (Wednesday).
As the name suggests, the concept is to specialize in plain black T-shirts.
There will be a large selection of black T-shirts carefully selected by MINOTAUR INST.
The setting is MIYASHITA PARK, a new Shibuya landmark.
It will open as a pop-up shop inside MINOTAUR INST. on the 3rd floor of the South Building.
The most noteworthy items in the black T-shirt selection are the two SUNSPEL x MINOTAUR INST. black T-shirts.
This large silhouette pocket T-shirt was created specifically for this project using a high-quality, classic material from history.

Sunspel is a long-established British brand that started out as a luxury lingerie brand.
The underwear, made from high-quality Sea Island cotton, is also famous as an item used by the royal family.

"QUALITY 82: Jersey"
Q82 is Sunspel's signature material.
This high-quality cotton jersey is made from the same Lyle cotton that was used in the world's first T-shirt.
The finest extra-long staple cotton is hand-picked to maintain its softness, combed to remove impurities, bundled, and twisted to give it strength and smoothness.
This process produces cotton thread that does not shrink when worn or washed.
Furthermore, two cotton threads are twisted together and gas-burned to remove any remaining impurities.

"QUALITY 75: Jersey"
This material is woven on lace looms in Nottingham, the home of the British lace industry, and is Q75 (Q stands for "Quality").
The founder's grandson, Peter Hill, set out to create a material that would keep him cool and comfortable under the Mediterranean summer sun, and the result was a cotton mesh that was not only lightweight but also breathable and extremely soft.
