MINOTAUR INST. has launched a collaboration with ECCO.
ECCO, a sustainable shoe brand from Denmark, develops its own premium leather, ECCO LEATHER, and manufactures all of its products in environmentally friendly factories.
It features a simple design that is kind to people and the earth, and combines functionality and comfort.
Through a session with MINOTAUR INST., we have created shoes that are simple yet functional, providing comfort to the mind and body.
This is the third season of this collaboration, and the lineup includes authentic running shoes and outdoor boots equipped with GORE-TEX.

A tough pair of shoes that can be put on and taken off quickly.
Made with waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX approved leather.
The closure system uses a wire instead of shoelaces, and by turning the dial the wire is wound up, allowing the shoes to be tightened evenly and loosened with one touch.
ECCO's unique one-piece molding process, FLUIDFORM(TM) technology (*direct injection), creates a comfortable and lightweight sole.
The shoe features the "BIOM" sole, which was inspired by barefoot African runners and was created to maximize the foot's movement path when running barefoot.

Based on the functional shoe that won the GOLD WINNER in the Hiking & Trekking Footwear category at the ISPO Awards 2018, MINOTAUR INST. has updated it with a military design featuring breathable and waterproof GORE-TEX and a closure system.
Ecco's unique one-piece molding process, FLUIDFORM(TM) technology (direct injection), allows the sole to remain lightweight yet flexible even in temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees.
The grippy and durable outsole and snug heel counter provide stable walking even on uneven ground.
