While inheriting the spirituality rooted in ancient Japan and resonating with modern sensibilities, the mindfulness brand JIKU has been launched.
Developed in collaboration between MINOTAUR INST., a unisex apparel line renowned for its refined aesthetic, and Kyoto’s Ryosokuin Temple, this collection is characterized by timeless designs and concepts grounded in Zen aesthetics.
Each product is designed to refine one’s “own axis” from multiple perspectives, bringing new awareness to daily life and guiding it toward more fulfilling time.

In places of prayer, the clear sound of the orin has long been used as a tool to purify space and calm the mind.
Born from the wish to enjoy this resonance in everyday life, the JIKU original orin features a minimal form, a dignified matte black presence, and a deep luster from lacquer finishing.
Each piece is handcrafted at Nanjo Kobo in Uji, Kyoto, which has specialized in “narimono” Buddhist instruments, including orins, for over 200 years.
Its sound reveals a different expression depending on the listener and moment, resonating with a serene afterglow in the space.

・The sahari alloy is specially blended with more tin to create a harder material that enhances the sound quality.
However, strong impacts may cause cracks or breakage.
Even if there is no visible damage, the tone may no longer resonate. Please handle with care.
